Coaching Testimonials

“My knight’s coaching experience has been life changing! I never realized the deep and far reaching effects life coaching would have on my life and on those around me. I am suddenly able to overcome obstacles I have struggled with for years. Marsha is truly a gifted life coach, it is obviously her calling. I was alive before, but now I’m really learning how to live!"

Lee Lee G.

"It is amazing that Marsha has transformed my views on not only myself, but also the world around me. Life coaching, and nothing else, has given me the empowerment and confidence to obtain the goal of improving myself! Not what anyone else thinks I should improve, just what I feel I want to improve. Marsha has the knowledge and trusting personality to help anyone obtain their goals. She has me realizing that I should live my life the way I want to live it and that everyday counts!"

“Marsha is a role model and a natural coach. She leads by example and strives for excellence in everything she does. Marsha’s style is unmatched, truthful and to the point. You can’t help but be effected by her presence in your life. With Marsha, it's 'what you see is what you get...' and what you get is a person who cares deeply in assisting you in succeeding in life or in your business."

"Dear Marsha,
When I first met you, I was completely broken; dealing with challenges and obstacles that are difficult to imagine. Using my issues to lighten and strengthen my perspective was a battle in and of itself. Then you came along; positive by nature, a gentle smile, and with your warm presence brightening my path. There aren’t enough words to express the gratitude and the appreciation I have for how you have inspired me. You lifted my spirits when hope was completely invisible to me and for that alone I am grateful. Today, the one thing that amazes me is your faith and belief in me! In life, if we have made a connection with someone quite like you, then we are truly blessed. Everyone in life deserves someone in their life that can do the same for them. Thank you Marsha!"
Your life long client, Carmen Ledesma

"Marsha Knight is a rare and captivating woman. I could not put her book down. What she has written is the true story of her life and it is mesmerizing. She grew up in the same small hometown that I did, yet our childhoods could not have been more different. While I grew up safe and happy, she struggled with poverty, abandonment and racism. However if you read her story, you feel the strength from her even as a small child. Her courage and tenacity to make her life something special is what amazes me. She is powerful in her beliefs, and powerful in her perspective. Positive, and grateful and yet always aware of where she came from. Did she become this incredible woman in spite of her life or because of it? Read her book and reflect on how all of us can be inspired and affected by Marsha, then go and spread her message in your own beautiful way."

"Hi Marsha,
I just finished your book and I don't know where to begin. I am so sorry for all that you had to go through and so impressed with what you have done with your life. You are an amazing woman and I am honored to call you my friend. I can't wait to see you, at your book signing, on 9/12 to congratulate you in person."

“I am reviewing the book “Reaching Out of the Rubble: the Sky is Not the Limit” from the perspective of a family member and not a client of Marsha D. Knight. My name is Wilfred Johnson and I am Marsha’s blood cousin. Marsha’s mother (Dolores) and my father (Clevia) were brother and sister. Both Dolores and Clevia died at a relatively young age. I was 10 years old when my father died; Marsha was born 2 years later. I cannot emphasize enough the courage that Marsha has exhibited in detailing the horrific events in her childhood. Most people, like myself, who have been abused deny or pretend nothing happened and in many cases reward their abuser or the enabler of the abuse. I sought psychiatric help several years ago and reading Marsha's book has helped me realize that I did and continue to do the things necessary to obtain an emotional resurrection. Marsha has successfully made the point that "life is a struggle" and if you approach it (life) in a haphazard way, you can quickly make things worse. There is nothing wrong with "asking for help". I have always believed that once you are an adult, you create your own reality. I highly recommend Marsha's book to anyone damaged, confused, and/or think they have the worst problems in the world."

“When Marsha told me she was planning on writing her first book, I was just thrilled! Knowing Marsha for about 3 years, I was excited that she was taking a big step forward in her profession and her own life. “Reaching out of the Rubble; the sky is not the limit” is an incredible and inspirational story that will make a great impact in anyone’s life! The best way I could describe my thoughts and feelings about Marsha and her book, would be by using a song from Whitney Houston: “I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone's shadows. If I fail, if I succeed - at least I'll live as I believe - no matter what they take from me, they can't take away my dignity - because the greatest love of all is happening to me. I found the greatest love of all inside of me. The greatest love of all is easy to achieve. Learning to love 'yourself' is the greatest love of all!"  You are an amazing woman Marsha, I'm glad to know you!”

“I would love to comment on Marsha Knight’s memoir "Reaching Out of the Rubble: The Sky is Not the Limit. This book is so inspiring I have passed it along to many to read. What I love the most is how Marsha could have very well played a victim, but she chose to be a survivor. What a great life Marsha made for herself and her wonderful son Derrick. I think that this is a great read for teens to adults. I strongly recommend picking up this book and reading it; you will laugh, cry, and rejoice. I love Marsha and her story. I lived part of her story but there was so much more that I knew nothing about and I have more respect for her now than ever! xo"
